QA Tester

SCRYPT is seeking to hire an experience QA Tester. You will be essential in maintaining and enhancing the quality and functionality of SCRYPT’s platform. Working closely with our development and product teams, you will test new features, identify bugs, and ensure our platform provides a seamless and reliable experience for both our internal users and customers. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, technically savvy, and committed to quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of new features and platform updates to identify potential issues.
• Develop, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define testing needs.
• Report bugs and issues in a clear, detailed manner, tracking them to resolution.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing on platform updates.
• Contribute to test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency.
• Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and overall user experience.
• Stay updated on industry best practices for QA and testing methodologies.

Job requirements  

• Proven experience in QA testing (manual and automated), preferably within a tech or software platform environment.
• Demonstrable practical knowledge of - Basic NX Monorepo, Git Submodules, Docker-Compose, HTML, CSS, Typescript
• Good knowhow of testing tools, namely Playwright and Cypress. Familiarity with React.JS, Nest.JS is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate issues effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript – Marc to elaborate) and platform architecture.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Fluent English Speaker
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
