You will find the dynamics of e-commerce, agile processes, flat hierarchies and steep development curves.
Now they are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer/System Administrator to make their product even more customer-friendly and efficient.
Requirements:
- First professional experience as a system administrator in the area of Debian Linux and in rollout systems such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet or Chef. Ideally first contact with programming languages such as Python or PHP
- Good knowledge of the shell and configuration of Nginx, PHP-FPM and MySQL (replication, backup etc.), basic knowledge of network and routing infrastructure (firewall, VLAN, routing etc.)
- Interest in familiarizing yourself with Elasticsearch and Redis as well as passion and know-how regarding Docker-based deployment environments
- Strong quality awareness, hands-on mentality, fun in development, good communication skills, ability to work in a team and a high level of motivation
- Business fluent German and good English skills
Responsibilities:
- You will complement the existing team with your expertise as a DevOps Engineer and work hand in hand with developers to scale their overall systems in a rapidly growing environment. You will support the monitoring and analysis of the applications
- You take over the administration and setup of their servers with the centralized configuration with Saltstack and significantly support the further development of the DevOps area as well as the implementation of new process structures
- You are responsible for the setup, support and expansion of the servers in the entire rental area and implement backup and monitoring strategies
- You will further expand our deployment processes (continuous integration) and take on the customization and creation of automation and automatic system configurations (scripting)
