General Description
This position will report directly to Mortgage Management Team. The Mortgage Closer is responsible for preparing loan closing packages, communicating with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring all paperwork is complete, accurate, and in compliance with legal regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

General Description
This position will report directly to Mortgage Management Team. The Mortgage Closer is responsible for preparing loan closing packages, communicating with all parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring all paperwork is complete, accurate, and in compliance with legal regulations.
Essential Functions
- Provide closing documents and support to attorneys.
- Ensure all loan documents are related to proper loan type
- Verifies accuracy of residential loan documentation, legal descriptions, and closing documents
- Prepare loan Closing Reports
- Notify Borrower(s) of closing disclosure / review closing disclosure
- Have a basis knowledge of title work and everything related to closing documentation
- Coordinate mortgage loan closing date for customer, attorney and real estate agent
- Reviewing all submitted date and paperwork then preparing closing documents
Education
- High School diploma. Some College preferred.
- 2 years Mortgage Loan Closing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of mortgage documents
- Demonstrated experience in an office environment
- Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and values

- Team player with the ability and willingness to work collaboratively with internal business partners.
