What will I be doing?
The Project Management Office (PMO) team is a very important part of achieving Vision Super's goals as we look to consolidate our growth.
The team works closely with the business to ensure that processes and systems are developed to meet Vision Super’s compliance obligations and deliver member focussed solutions. Your ability to elicit, interpret and elaborate requirements to develop high quality project outcomes will be key to your success in this role.
This isn’t the definitive list, but among other work you will:
- Lead the business through the solution design process to deliver clear, concise business requirements and business cases
- Provide guidance to the business through strategic problem solving
- Lead continuous improvement and efficiencies in business analysis practice
- Address operational and technological risk through business analysis
- Develop and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) in consultation with the business
- Collaborate with the development team to understand and agree on design best practices
- Independently build rapport with stakeholders and understand stakeholder challenges
- Ensure activities are appropriately tracked with clear traceability and are completed within the agreed timeframes
- Work collaboratively with Business analysts and stakeholders to develop and review project documentation, including training materials and documented processes for end users
- Manage project-related tasks from planning to implementation as required.
What are the essential skills and qualifications?
We're looking for someone with:
- A passion for providing innovative solutions, with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to hit the ground running in new environments
- Five+ years’ experience in a business analyst role across a wide range of business projects, preferably within the superannuation industry
- Demonstrated successful delivery of projects through application of business analysis and change management methodologies
- Sound understanding of all aspects of the project lifecycle
- Effective executive messaging/communication skills (both written and verbal) to all levels of the organisation
- The ability to understand executive and business sponsors' strategic direction
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders at all levels in identifying, developing and delivering business focused process improvements and enhancements and resolving complex business issues
- The ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across a range of platforms and issues
- Extensive experience working successfully within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong presentation skills
- A relevant tertiary degree
It would be a bonus if you have:
- A formal accreditation in a major business analysis methodology
- Experience working on ATO/APRA legislative requirements will also be highly regarded.
